001

app tracking

Automatically tracks every application you use on macOS and Windows — time spent, window titles, context switches. No manual timers, no configuration. Install and forget.

Detects the frontmost app every second. Browser window titles identify specific websites. AI auto-classifies unknown apps.

002

code analytics

Coding time broken down by project, language, and editor. Supports VS Code, Cursor, Xcode, iTerm2, Warp, Terminal, and Claude Code.

VS Code extension + Claude Code hook + native window title detection across all editors.

003

ai weekly digest

Every week, xeve analyzes your data and generates an AI insight report. Discovers patterns like "you code 40% more when you sleep over 7 hours."

Analyzes 7 days of productivity, coding, health, and GitHub data. Generates actionable recommendations.

004

github sync

Commits, pull requests, code reviews, and lines changed — synced daily. See engineering output alongside productivity data.

OAuth connects GitHub. Syncs commits, merged PRs, and review activity across all repos.

005

correlation engine

Automatically finds statistical patterns across all data streams. Sleep vs productivity. Music vs focus. Steps vs coding output.

Pearson correlation across 19 metric pairs with plain-English interpretation.

006

spotify + health

Spotify listening history with top artists. BLE heart rate from any sensor. iOS HealthKit for steps, sleep, and active energy.

Spotify via OAuth. Heart rate via Bluetooth Low Energy. HealthKit syncs from iPhone automatically.

faq

xeve tracks your application usage on macOS and Windows (which apps you use and for how long), coding time by project and language, GitHub commits and PRs, Spotify listening history, heart rate via Bluetooth, and iOS health data like steps, sleep, and location. All data is categorized automatically — productive, communication, entertainment, and more.

Yes. Your data is stored in a secure Supabase PostgreSQL database with row-level security — only you can access your own data. The native apps track locally and sync to your personal account. We never sell data or share it with third parties. You can export or delete all your data at any time.

xeve combines app tracking, coding analytics, GitHub activity, Spotify history, health data, and AI insights in one unified dashboard. RescueTime only tracks apps. Toggl requires manual time entries. WakaTime only tracks coding. xeve does all of it automatically with zero configuration, plus cross-platform correlation analysis that no other tool offers.

xeve tracks coding time in VS Code, Cursor, Xcode, iTerm2, Warp, Terminal, and Claude Code. The VS Code extension provides detailed heartbeat tracking. For Claude Code, a simple shell hook captures every AI-assisted coding session. The native apps detect projects automatically from window titles.

Yes — during early access, everything is free with no limits. No credit card required. When paid plans launch, early users will keep free access forever as a thank you for helping build the product. Pro plans will add premium features like extended history and priority AI insights.

The tracker runs on macOS 14+ as a native menu bar app and on Windows 10/11 as a system tray app. The iOS companion app tracks health data, location, and heart rate. The web dashboard works on any browser at xeve.io. VS Code and Claude Code extensions are available for coding time tracking. Android support is planned.
